Fortis Tugs was incorporated under Chelsea Shipping Corp. on 08 April 2013 and is engaged in the towage and salvage of marine vessels and other crafts including their cargoes upon seas, lakes, rivers, canals, bays, harbours, and other waterways between the various ports of the Philippines.  

Fortis Tugs acquired Davao Gulf Marine Services, Inc. adding three tugboats in its fleet. It was incorporated on 29 November 2011 primarily to engage in, operate, conduct and maintain the business of providing tug and other marine services to all vessels , foreign or coastwise, in the docking and undocking of vessels entering and leaving the various ports of Davao City and its neighboring areas.
