Chelsea Ship Management & Marine Services Corp. receives ISO 9001:2015 Certificate

Chelsea Ship Management & Marine Services Corp. (CSMMSC), the ship management company of the Chelsea Logistics Group, received its ISO 9001:2015 Certification, following the completion of ISO audit requirements on 17 January 2020.

An ISO 9001:2015 Certification is a vital part of an organization’s efforts to achieve sustainable development. Adopting a Quality Management System (QMS) guides an organization in the improvement of its internal and external processes and policies in order to achieve customer satisfaction.

3-month review

CSMMSC satisfactorily passed the Stage 2 Audit for ISO 9001:2015 Certification, manifesting the readiness and effectiveness of the Company’s QMS. It wen t through a rigid evaluation process for 3 months,to ensure the QMS is completely implemented across the Company. With this certification, CSMMSC customers and stakeholders can expect improved consistency on quality service, as the Company is now driven by the seven (7) management principles defined under ISO 9001:2015: Customer Focus, Leadership, Engagement of People, Process Approach, Improvement, Evidence based Decision-making, and Relationship Management.
