The Gen. Malvar Museum and Library (National Land Mark) serves as memorial to the last Filipino general who surrendered to the American forces. The place, which was donated by the family of the late general, houses some of his memorabilia and collection of oil paintings.

The Mabini Shrine houses the remains and personal belongings of the late revolutionary hero and “Brains of the Katipunan,” Apolinario Mabini.

Taal Lake and Volcano is Southern Luzon’s centerpiece attraction. The gateway for most visitors is through Tagaytay City from the ridge of which can be seen a panoramic view of volcano island. The volcano is known to be the smallest in the world.

Feast your eyes in a garden consisting of living corals near the shore of one of the beaches of Lobo, the Submarine Garden. It can be clearly seen during the early mornings when the water is clear and the tide is low.

The Leon Apacible Historical Landmark (Natural Landmark) houses the family’s collection of relics and memorabilia. A walking distance from Taal’s town proper, a visitor can walk through its streets and enjoy the old Spanish ambiance since the area has not changed much since the colonial times.

Batangas is also known for the Kapeng Baraco and delicate embroidery crafts on locally woven jusi and piña fibers.
