Upon arrival at the venue, an orientation was conducted by CCENRO regarding details of the activity and its exact location including proper tree planting procedures before the participants traversed to the area.
On record, twenty-two (22) volunteer employees of Trans-Asia Shipping Lines, Inc. were able to attend the tree planting activity and were able to plant 200 tree samplings of fruit-bearing and indigenous trees alike. We started planting around 7:58AM and ended at around 9:30AM.
As well as contributing to the environment, planting days are also an incredible way to bring our employees together. It fosters a positive, team building environment, as well as inspiring colleagues to live for the planet.
The tree planting was in connection with CCENRO’s greening program that looks at planting more than 350,000 trees to replace existing trees that will be earth-balled with the implementation of certain government’s projects.
